questions before you start.

Practical answers about working with NexusPoint, choosing products, approving samples and receiving an export order.

Working with NexusPoint

What food products does NexusPoint supply?

Our food range covers ten series: sauces & seasonings; chili & paprika; ginger, garlic & onion; frozen vegetables & fruit; peanuts & nuts; ice cream & frozen desserts; candy & bakery snacks; canned fruit & pickled vegetables; noodles & convenience foods; fish & prepared seafood. We review the product, quantity, packaging and destination before confirming availability and a quotation.

Are you a food manufacturer or a trading company?

NexusPoint provides food trading and sourcing services through independent manufacturers and specialist service providers. Our team coordinates from Qingdao, China. The actual manufacturer, seller and responsibilities are identified for your order.

Which company will I buy from?

NexusPoint brings together our China and U.S. companies to coordinate food sourcing, private-label projects and cross-border orders. Your quotation confirms the selling company, payment details and delivery responsibilities before you place an order. If your procurement team has a U.S. or China contracting requirement, mention it in your inquiry. Our trade team supports your project throughout.

Can your U.S. company receive payment?

Yes. NexusPoint Global Inc. has a company bank account. For an order agreed with our U.S. company, the quotation and payment instructions confirm the seller, payment recipient and payment terms.

Can you develop a sauce or supply our private label?

Send the product type, target flavor or reference sample, ingredient requirements, pack size, quantity and destination. We review existing recipes and formulation options with manufacturers. Development work, label artwork, sample rounds, minimums and timing are confirmed individually.

Can I buy products for wholesale or foodservice?

Yes. Tell us your sales channel, required pack size, carton count and expected order volume. Retail, foodservice and bulk formats are reviewed with the manufacturer for the exact product.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimums depend on the product, formula batch size, packaging and quantity per flavor or label. Share your first order and expected repeat volume. We confirm the product and printed-packaging minimums in the quotation.

Can I receive samples before ordering?

Sample availability, quantity, preparation time and delivery cost are confirmed after we review your brief. Agree the recipe or grade, sample identification and evaluation criteria. Sample approval does not replace the agreed production checks or document review.

How are kimchi and frozen foods shipped?

The manufacturer confirms storage conditions and shelf life for the actual product and pack. Before an order, agree temperature requirements, transport, cold storage, handover responsibilities and receiving criteria. Refrigerated freight or storage is included only when stated in the quotation.

Are all products certified for my country?

Certificates and test reports must match the actual manufacturer, site, product and required scope. NexusPoint does not present partner-factory certifications as its own. The importer and relevant specialists review product-specific documentation and destination requirements before commitment.

Can labels, bottles, bags and cartons be coordinated with the food order?

Yes. We can review packaging options with the food manufacturer and packaging suppliers. Confirm dimensions, materials, closure, label language, artwork, quantities and storage conditions. Food-contact suitability is assessed for the intended use.

Can different food products share a shipment?

We assess product availability, loading quantities, packaging and compatible temperature requirements before proposing a mixed shipment. Chilled, frozen and ambient products must not be assumed to share the same transport conditions. Packing, consolidation and freight costs are confirmed for the shipment.

Can you coordinate an order with my existing food supplier?

We can assess a defined coordination role. Share the supplier details, product specification, sample approvals, payment status and open issues. We agree the tasks, any separate fee and who may approve changes or release the shipment.

Who handles freight, customs clearance and duties?

Your quotation and order identify the applicable delivery term and named place, and assign freight, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes and importer responsibilities. These costs are not automatically included in the goods price.

What happens if an inspection finds a problem?

Within the agreed scope, we coordinate the evidence and manufacturer response. The authorized parties decide the corrective action and any further checks. Costs, timing and remedies follow the written order and service terms.

What should I send for a useful first reply?

Send your company, food product, sales channel, quantity, pack size, destination, required date and reference files. Add recipe or ingredient requirements, storage conditions and private-label details where applicable.

Quotations, samples and order planning

Get comparable offers and a sample plan matched to your actual use.

Can I request an indicative price before finalizing the order?

Share a preliminary product, pack, quantity and destination. Any initial price is a planning reference. The formal quotation records the confirmed specification, quantity, included services, delivery term and validity; later changes require an updated offer.

Is MOQ per flavor, pack or total order, and can deliveries be split?

Ask for the minimum quantity for each formula, flavor, pack and printed design. A combined order does not automatically satisfy each minimum. Trial quantities or split production and delivery can be assessed, with batch sizes, total commitment, payment and release dates agreed in writing.

What should I confirm before samples are sent?

Agree the product specification, intended application, sample identity, quantity, preparation time, charges and freight. Provide receiving details and any temperature requirements privately. Request a sample list and suitable identification, then check every received sample against that list before testing.

How do I test sauces, marinades and coatings against a reference?

A product name alone is not enough. Share the reference, label and intended dish. Test the exact sample in your actual preparation process, recording dosage, temperature, texture, flavor and holding time. Compare coating, marinade and finishing sauce together when their performance is connected.

Can I arrange a visit or tasting with a partner manufacturer?

Share the products, reference samples, ingredient restrictions, proposed date, group size and language needs. Access, samples, assistance and any costs depend on the manufacturer’s confirmation. NexusPoint coordinates the arrangement; the manufacturing site is an independent partner.

Can we discuss stock opportunities or market exclusivity?

Stock offers require current quantity, production and expiry dates, remaining shelf life and order terms. Exclusive distribution is a separate discussion covering territory, products, duration, volume commitments and responsibilities; neither availability nor exclusivity is implied by a catalog listing.

Formula, private label and packaging

Separate recipe approval, packaging approval and the evidence behind product claims.

Who approves private-label artwork and formula ownership?

The buyer approves the agreed artwork and product information. Design work, fees, label versions, formula rights and confidentiality are recorded for the project. Existing-brand supply must be checked separately; another customer’s brand or exclusive formula is not a reusable reference asset.

Can I request a different bottle, jar, pouch or bulk container?

State the exact net weight or volume, container material, closure, filling method and order quantity. The manufacturer and packaging supplier assess filling capability, compatibility and minimum runs. A pack offered for one product does not establish that format for the entire range.

Are a 480 g jar, 500 g pack and 1 kg bag interchangeable?

No. Net weight, container type and units per carton identify different specifications. A photograph of a jar cannot approve a bag format. Confirm the exact pack and corresponding carton data, sample and label before ordering.

Does Korean-style flavor or Korean-language packaging mean Korean origin?

No. Product style, label language and country of origin are different facts. The declared origin must reflect the actual product and applicable rules, supported by the manufacturer and shipment documentation.

Can a new formula or sachet use another product’s shelf life?

The final recipe, process and packaging must be assessed together. Confirm the basis for unopened shelf life, storage and minimum remaining life at delivery. Resealing, refrigeration and use after opening need their own product-specific instructions; do not copy a shelf-life claim from a different SKU.

Can I request ingredient exclusions or a different flavor profile?

State the target market, ingredients to exclude, allergen requirements and measurable flavor changes. The manufacturer assesses the formula, production controls, evidence and sample timetable. Claims such as gluten-free or no added preservatives must match the approved product and supporting information.

What should an instant-noodle seasoning brief include?

Specify noodle type and serving weight, soup or dry-noodle use, seasoning dose, flavor, heat and reference sample. Add allergen restrictions, sachet weight, target market and first-order quantity. The seasoning and finished meal need their own preparation and storage review.

How should I compare soy sauce grades and producers?

Ask for the actual producer, specification and sample. Confirm whether the sauce is brewed or blended and review requested measures such as amino acid nitrogen against the proposed product. Similar product names do not prove an equivalent grade or recipe.

Does a successful freshly fried trial validate a frozen ready-to-cook product?

No. A frozen process needs a separate review of preparation, freezing, storage, cooking instructions and finished-product performance. A restaurant tasting is useful feedback but does not validate a manufacturing process or shelf life.

Cold chain, quality and documents

Match evidence and handling to the actual product, manufacturer and destination.

How should we check halal, kosher, audits or registration requirements?

Name the exact product, manufacturer, destination and required document or recognition. Check validity, issuing body, site and product scope. Plant-based ingredients do not automatically establish halal compliance. Audit records and registration are not product certification; partner documents are not NexusPoint’s own certificates.

Does previous export experience prove a product can enter my country?

No. The importer must review the actual product, ingredients, processing, label and current destination requirements. Identify any health, phytosanitary or other documents required for that consignment. Experience with another product or market is not a substitute for this review.

What should a kimchi specification include?

Define whole or cut cabbage, piece size, recipe reference, heat, acidity, salt, texture and fermentation stage. Request the relevant ingredient, allergen and technical information from the producer. Particular ingredients or custom recipes require feasibility and sample review; old batch data must not be substituted.

Can chilled or frozen samples travel by ordinary courier?

First agree a transport and receiving plan that maintains the product’s required temperature through handling and clearance. Ice packs alone do not demonstrate a suitable cold chain. If a workable sample route is unavailable, assess another review arrangement with the manufacturer.

Can different products share a container, and how is capacity calculated?

Review the product list, each item’s minimum quantity and compatible temperature conditions. Loading depends on measured carton and pallet dimensions, net and gross weights, stacking and container type. Confirm the final mix before freight pricing; another product’s carton count is not a loading specification.

How do I compare chili and paprika offers?

Use one specification for form, variety, origin requirement, stem or seed content, heat, color, size or mesh, moisture and defects. Agree treatments, tests, acceptance criteria, pack and delivery terms. Invisible seeds in a powder do not prove deseeding, and a low unit price may refer to a different grade or service scope.

Can I request products beyond the published detail pages?

Yes. Send a measurable specification and destination. Frozen produce needs crop, cut, preparation and cold-chain details; canned beans need bean type, sauce, net and drained weight; salt needs the intended grade and technical limits. Supplier development, documents, samples and current availability are checked before commitment.

How should we shortlist products for a new retail or foodservice range?

Start with the application, sales channel and pack rather than the largest catalog. Compare a few relevant samples under the intended use. Add related sauces, ingredients or partner-sourced products only after reviewing specifications and buyer feedback; a proposed shortlist is not a sales ranking.

Shipping documents and receiving

Agree shipment responsibilities and keep the final product and document versions aligned.

Which document details should be checked before dispatch?

Review the agreed invoice and packing list, seller and consignee details, product names, quantities and values. Confirm required batch and date fields, shipping marks, electronic or original documents and release method. Dates and identifiers must match the actual goods; use the jointly approved final versions.

What should a freight-inclusive quotation specify?

Agree the delivery term and named place, pack configuration, carton dimensions, net and gross weights, pallets and destination. The quote should identify included charges, exclusions and validity. EXW, FOB and other terms allocate different responsibilities and should not be treated as equivalent prices.

Can goods go to my consolidation warehouse in China?

Provide the warehouse, package count, expected volume, receiving rules and required temperature. Domestic delivery, shared-container feasibility and costs need confirmation. Identify who is responsible for onward export, documents and temperature control.

What should we do when only part of a shipment arrives?

Reconcile the received packages against the packing list and tracking references. Ask the carrier about outstanding packages and record delivery status through final receipt. The first delivery does not establish that the entire shipment has arrived.

Does having a U.S. company mean NexusPoint holds local stock overseas?

No. A contracting or payment entity does not establish inventory, a warehouse or local fulfillment. Any stock location, distributor arrangement, delivery service or importer role must be confirmed for the specific order.
